ARCHITECTS ONLINE - HISTORY

The architects online website was created at the very end of 1999 and went live in April 2000. The site is owned and managed by Solutions Publish Ltd an independently owned web publishing business.

Originally envisaged as an effective alternative to the trade press, the site has since grown to become the premier architectural jobsite in the United Kingdom and a major player in the USA.

The formula for success has been very simple. All along the focus has been on providing a simple to use, easy to understand service where employers and agencies can post their jobs with full graphics and outward links. There are no gimmicks, no hidden charges and no restrictions.

Architects Online has never tried to be an online magazine or a web based recruitment agency. It is and has always been a jobsite for architects and architectural staff. Many of the most loyal and long standing advertisers are recruitment agencies. For the first time in living memory the paper based trade press no longer has a monopoly of recruitment advertising and in the case of architecture Architects online lead and still leads the way.

As a result candidates have flocked to the site, and many check it regularly. The candidates facilities in the latest version of the site make this even easier. The site is all over the search engines and this coupled with five years of candidate data means the most important factor of all - a good response - is always available.
