Retail regeneration 2007
Designing for the next generation of retail
development
10th May 2007
International Coffee Organisation, London
As you will no doubt be aware, delivering a
retail scheme that meets the requirements of all the key stakeholders
and creates a space that people want to go to is not always easy.
Small town retail developments in particular bring with them some
specific issues that need to be resolved as part of their design.
Environmental issues are playing an increasingly important role in
retail development, and consideration needs to be given to energy
consumption and the impact on the environment. To find out more about
how to succeed in this burgeoning sector, especially with regard to
what developers and clients are looking for from a retail regeneration
scheme, attend Retail Regeneration 2007.

TIME: 10am - 4pm
COST: £130 + VAT
The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and the TWA (Timber Window

Hall in London on Wednesday 16 May.
Designed for architects, specifiers , contractors, developers and

editor of AJ Specification.
The focus of the conference will be the sustainability credentials of
timber windows in the context of government initiatives such as the
Code for Sustainable Homes and changes to Part L of the Building
Regulations.
Speakers from AJ top 100 architect Hopkins Architects, the BRE,
Construction Products Association, Environment Trust and the public
and private house building sectors will present the case for timber
windows as the future for fenestration in a world where energy
efficiency, carbon footprint and whole life costings are the key
criteria for sustainable development.
Included in the price of the ticket is the new Essential Guide to
Timber Windows - with what you need to know about the specification
of wood windows, from design to maintenance, from performance to
British Standards and details on the latest Building Regulations that
govern fenestration. A collection of Fact Cards, a technical pull-out
chart and a directory of where to source high performance products all
bound in this updateable ring binder will be free for delegates that
attend the Conference.
